Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris will miss the club’s Premier League fixture against Watford on Sunday due to a thigh injury. The 31-year old recently got a charge for drunk driving. However, he got out on bail and will appear before a Magistrates Court on September 11.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said that the injury is nit a big issue, hoping that the Frenchman is available for Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

Tottenham have so far won all three of their games and have conceded only twice thanks to Lloris. They are currently 2nd in the Premier League table.

Yesterday, the 31-year old was also in France’s squad for their UEFA Nations League matches against Germany and the Netherlands. Currently, it is hard to say whether he will start in those matches or not. In case he doesn’t, the start will most certainly go to PSG’s Alphonse Areola.
