Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has confirmed that he will still sign Victor Moses from Chelsea despite his injury concerns.
The 24-year-old is set to have a third spell on the sidelines after picking up yet another injury over the weekend, but Hughes insists that it won’t put him off making the loan deal a permanent one.
The Nigerian international has played 19 games for The Potters this season and is expected to complete a permanent switch to the Britannia over the Summer in a deal worth £5million, and Hughes has confirmed that fitness concerns won’t play a decisive factor in the deal.
“He has done well for us this season, but he is a Chelsea player and so they decide on the timing of talks.
“We will get him back fit and well. He did have a problem with his thigh and they are a notorious injury, but he’s had no re-occurrence of that.”
It’s believed Moses wants to leave Chelsea after failing to cement a first-team spot since moving there back in 2012 from Wigan Athletic.
