Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has suffered another ankle injury after it was confirmed that he turned his ankle during last night’s 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners were lackluster last night in Germany and fell to a vintage Dortmund display, and the night was made even worse when Wilshere ended the game hobbling about holding his ankle, which has caused him pain in the past.

Wilshere missed 17-months of his career due to an ankle injury and fears are now that the Englishman could have done some damage again.

After the game, Arsene Wenger had this to say on the injury:

‘Wilshere has turned his ankle. It’s difficult to say how bad it is,’ said Wenger. ‘I’m a bit cautious because of his history. Normally it’s not too bad.’

The club will access Wilshere but they are hopeful that the blow won’t be long-term.
