Jamie Vardy has officially rejected Arsenal and has agreed a new deal at Premier League champions, Leicester City.
The 29-year-old striker will sign a new 4-year deal after his goals fired Leicester to the shock title win last season.
“Both parties hope this announcement will end recent speculation regarding Jamie’s future,” a club statement said.
Vardy was the subject of a bid from Premier League rivals Arsenal before the start of Euro 2016.
The Gunners had hoped to tie up a deal for the former Fleetwood player before the tournament began but that failed to happen.
Vardy scored in England’s 2-1 win over Wales at Euro 2016 as Roy Hodgson’s side finished second in Group B to make it through to the last 16.
