Jesse Lingard set for huge new deal

United starlet has impressed at Old Trafford

Manchester United are preparing to offer Jesse Lingard a new contract at the club which will see his wage DOUBLE.

Reports suggest that the versatile midfielder currently earns £25,000-a-week plus incentives, which include bonus payments for first team appearances.

However, the Red Devils’ boss Louis van Gaal and his assistant Ryan Giggs have been so impressed with Lingard that they are willing to pay him £50,000-a-week.

The 22-year old’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed by England manager Roy Hodgson either, after he was recently called up to the senior national squad due to injuries.

Lingard, who scored his first Premier League goal in the 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion, will get together with his representatives in order to reach an agreement with United’s hierarchy.
