Chelsea are to turn their attentions to Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy, should Petr Cech depart Stamford Bridge.
Cech, has been tipped to leave the West-Londoners after eleven-years, having lost his place to Thibaut Courtois in Chelsea’s starting side.
One possible destination for the 32-year-old Cech is to Turkish side Besiktas, and his agent has claimed that the Istanbul outfit have made contact over his availability.
Cech’s agent Viktor Kolar said: “I have been in contact with Besiktas. Their officials contacted me, and we are in talks.
“Turkey is a choice for Cech. But we will make a decision once the league season is over.”
Ruddy, aged 28, has become a pivotal member of Norwich’s squad since signing for them on a permanent deal in 2010.
And the long-term future of the keeper may be decided upon if the Norfolk-based club get promoted back to the Premier League, following a year hiatus.
Alex Neil’s Canaries face bitter-rivals Ipswich Town in the second leg of the play-off semi-final at Carrow Road on Saturday, with the derby against the Tractor Boys poised at 1-1.
Ruddy has been an ever-present in-between the sticks for Norwich this season, and has made 48 appearances.
