Liverpool skipper gives update on fitness

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has told fans that his return is not too far away.

The club captain has been out of action for a few months now after suffering from an ankle problem and also a broken foot.

Before breaking his foot in September, Henderson missed a few games due to an ankle issue, which saw him fly out to America to receive specialist advise.

However, on his return to first-team training, the midfielder broke his foot, leaving him sidelined for a couple of months.

Henderson Back Soon

Speaking about his recovery and potential return date, Henderson revealed he will be back in action soon.

“I’ve been out for a pretty long time – the longest I’ve been out for, so hopefully I’m not too far away now,” he told Sky Sports News.
“I hope [I’m back in the next 10 days]. I’m not sure on a time limit yet, but I hope it’s soon.”
