Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, is not willing to do business with Real Madrid for Brazilian midfielder Ramires, after it was reported that a £25million bid was in the pipeline.

The Spanish giants are interested in finding a long-term replacement for veteran midfielder Xabi Alonso, and it appears that they want Ramires to be that man, who is five years younger than the Spaniard.

Alonso, who missed this year’s Champions League final due to suspension, is now 32, whilst Ramires is 27, and it was reported yesterday that Carlo Ancelotti and co. were planning to make a formal bid worth around £25m.

Ancelotti was the man who purchased Ramires for Chelsea a few years ago, and he is keen to reunite with him, but may have to offer big in order to win round Mourinho.

The Brazilian cost Chelsea £17m from Portuguese side Benfica, and he has gone on to make 196 appearances for The Blues, becoming a mainstay in their first-team.
