Portuguese will replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho has already signed a contract with Manchester United stating that he will replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, according to reports.

The Portuguese has been heavily linked with a move Old Trafford after being sacked by Chelsea back in December, and with questions still raised over Van Gaal, it’s expected a summer appointment will happen.

According to reports, Mourinho has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the club and will be paid compensation should he not get the job this summer.

Although Van Gaal has one year left on his current deal, Mourinho agreed to take over this summer, and it’s claimed if that doesn’t happen, United will owe him £15million in compensation.

Pre-Contract

Reports in Spain have claimed that Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes has confirmed that his client has signed a deal at Old Trafford.

Mourinho himself confirmed in a recent interview that he will be back in the dugout by July, but he did not reveal with what club.
