Jose Mourinho reportedly wants a reunion with Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil at Manchester United.
The pair have previously worked together at Real Madrid, before Ozil was sold to the Gunners for £42.5million.
Reports claimed that Mourinho was ‘furious’ with the decision to sell by Madrid, and now claim he believes he can get the best out of the German at Old Trafford.
Ozil will have a year remaining on his current deal with Arsenal this summer but has insisted he will hold talks over his future at the end of the season.
‘I’m very happy. I have a connection with the club,’ he told the Mail on Sunday.
‘I love London, it’s great to live here but I can’t say today what will happen in the future. In the summer we’ll definitely talk.’
