Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has categorically denied rumours of an exit for superstar forward Lionel Messi.
Messi, a graduate of La Masia, has been at the Nou Camp, and Bartomeu expects him to remain there for the foreseeable future. Despite a £200m release clause, and reports that Chelsea were willing to pay, the President is confident that Messi is staying put.
“Messi will continue here this season, next season and the one after that. We have no intentions of selling Leo because we are very happy with him.”
