Napoli striker to stay in Italy?

Manchester United and Arsenal could miss out on Gonzalo Higuain this summer.

United look to searching for a new striker after Radamel Falcao‘s loan deal expired and Robin Van Persie looks to be on his way out of the club.

Juventus are also said to be interested in signing Van Persie although Lazio are interested in the Dutchman too.

Juventus Seek Domination

Higuain is said to be one of Juventus’ main targets but Arsenal have been linked to the Argentine striker in a £30m move.

Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus want to create a side that can be a dominant force in Serie A and the Champions League for years to come, after The Old Lady fell just short in Europe this time around after losing 3-1 to FC Barcelona in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Higuain has been a target for Juventus for a long while and would fit perfectly in their squad.

Napoli Asking Price

The Argentine netted 18 league goals last season and Napoli are asking for £37m in exchange for the striker.
