Juventus striker Andrea Favilli to be loaned to Genoa

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that young striker Andrea Favilli will be loaned to Genoa this season. The 21-year old had a a terrific debut for Juventus in their International Champions Cup clash with Bayern Munich as he scored both goals in their 2-0 win

Despite his performance, Allegri decided to loan him to Genoa. He said, “Favilli is a good player. He has good potential and capabilities, but he’s going to go to Genoa.”

Favilli came to Juventus this summer at a fee of €7.5 million from Serie B side Ascoli. His debut against Bayern Munich last night. His first goal came in the 32nd minute when a poor back pass from Josip Stanisic found Claudio Marchisio and he passed to Favilli who found the net.

His second goal came just 8 minutes later when an Alex Sandro pass found him and he beat Bayern Munich goalkeeper Ulreich.
