Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly upped their bid for Chelsea playmaker Oscar to £19.8million.
The Italian giants launched an initial formal bid last month, according to reports, but the £18m offer was deemed unacceptable by Chelsea officials.
However, Juve have now come back with a new and improved offer and have offered The Blues £1.8m more for the Brazilian midfielder.
According to reports in Italy, Jose Mourinho is willing to sell Oscar, but only if the price is right, and it’s yet not clear whether the new and improved bid is deemed acceptable.
Initial reports had Oscar and Paul Pogba swapping clubs in a sensational player-swap deal, but those claims have been dismissed and it now looks like the Frenchman could be set for a stunning move to FC Barcelona once the Spanish side’s embargo is lifted.
The 23-year-old could be one of two attacking-midfielders to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Mohamed Salah expected to join Fiorentina in a deal worth £12.5m.
If The Blues do lose both, the hunt will begin for suitable replacements with Arda Turan and Antoine Griezmann both being linked from Atletico Madrid.
