Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is in talks with Manchester City, according to the player’s agent.
The Belgium international recently left the Premier League after a failed spell with Chelsea, but after shining in a short period of time in the Bundesliga, De Bruyne is attracting interest from England.
Manchester City and Manchester United have both shown interest in the midfielder and according to his agent, City have already made a formal move to sign him.
The 23-year-old has scored 15 goals so far this season and has provided his team-mates with 22 assists, making him one of Europe’s hottest talents since his £18million move from Chelsea in January 2014.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the Belgium star, with some reports linking Bayern Munich with a move, but his agent has now confirmed that as it stands, everything is just gossip, but he has however held talks with representatives from City.
“I’ve never spoken to anyone from Manchester United but a lot of other clubs have been in touch to find out some general information.”
