Klopp Ready to Splash $36m to Sign Star Midfielder for Liverpool

Liverpool are looking to reinforce their squad under new manager Jurgen Klopp and if reports are now stating the Reds are targeting a versatile midfielder.

Today Spanish media claims  Jurgen Klopp is ready to fork out $36 million to sign Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio.

Marchisio is a natural defensive midfielder who can also play brilliantly as a creative midfielder in the center as well.

The 29-year-old Italian has been a key member of the Old Lady squad and was impressive last season when Juventus won the Italian Cup, Serie A and reached then Champions League final.

Last season, Marchisio featured in a staggering 52 games for the Italian champions, scored 3 goals and provided 10 assists. The Azzurri star will be a brilliant addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad and can form a solid partnership with the likes of Can and Henderson in Liverpool’s midfield.
