New Everton boss Ronald Koeman is ready to launch a hugely ambitious £30million bid for Euro 2016 winner William Carvalho.
Koeman has the midfielder in his sights with Napoli, Inter Milan and Leicester rivalling his interest in Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel.
Koeman has made a high-class midfielder one of his priorities at Goodison and sees Carvalho as a prime candidate.
Carvalho has made 111 appearances for the club, winning two domestic trophies.
Backed by majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Koeman has already landed goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham.
