Paris-Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is ready to reject a move to Anfield and move to Italian giants Juventus.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was understood to be ready to offer £18m for the Argentine’s services after a deal to sign QPR striker Loic Remy fell through last week.
With PSG ready to offload the player to make way for Angel Di Maria, Liverpool believed that they were certain to sign Lavezzi, but now it appears this is not the case.
Lavezzi has openly admitted that he would prefer a move to other potential suitors Juventus and has no interest whatsoever to arrive at Anfield.
Liverpool have now been forced to look elsewhere, with Brendan Rodgers keen to add more players to increase the size of his squad, ready for Europe next season.
