Much pursued Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri is due to make an imminent decision on his future after Liverpool placed an £11m bid for the Bayern Munich midfielder.
Amid rumours of late competition for his signature, Liverpool have reportedly tabled a bid to rival Inter Milan’s loan offer with a deferred payment. Bayern are said to prefer a permanent deal, but are willing to accept Inter’s offer providing there is an obligation to buy at the end of the deal.
Shaqiri now has a decision to make between Anfield and Italy, some suggesting that he could make his mind up as soon as next week.
