Liverpool and Tottenham will step up their interest in Ezequiel Lavezzi, after PSG manager Laurent Blanc revealed he’s looking to sell Lavezzi this month.

Inter Milan and Valencia have already made their interest in the Argentine formally known to Paris Saint Germain, but he remains heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.

Lavezzi is out of favour with Blanc, having not turned up for the team’s mid-winter training camp in Morocco.

However a stumbling block to a potential deal could be the reluctance of PSG president Nasser El Khelafi to let the 29 year old go.

El Khelafi is concerned that he might not be able to find a replacement in time, whilst still complying with Financial FairPlay regulations.
