The Reds will go head-to-head with Tottenham for his signature

Liverpool are planning a move for Ante Coric in January according to reports – but they will face competition from Tottenham for his signature.

The Reds are a big fan of the 19-year old and they have been put on red alert with the news that he is available to buy in January. They’ve been keeping tabs on his progress for years now and they’ll be desperate to sign him when the winter transfer window opens.

Man City not interested

They were close to agreeing a deal over the summer but the player himself decided to stay at his current club Dinamo Zagreb. However, the club have now decided that they want to sell him on and Jurgen Klopp will once again be in the race to sign him.

Although they won’t face competition from Man City this time out – Pep Guardiola’s men nearly pulled off a deal for him in the summer – they will have to battle Tottenham to sign him.

Spurs are very keen to bring Coric to White Hart Lane and will go all the way with Liverpool in the battle to sign him.

The Croatian would cost either side £15m, which is a price both sides are willing to pay for his services.
