Reds have already had £10million bid rejected

Liverpool have been cleared to sign Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne as Saints have found a replacement.

The Saints are on the verge of signing Sporting Lisbon right-back Cedric Soares, as they are getting ready to replace Clyne who looks to be leaving St Mary‘s this summer.

Formal Offer Already Snubbed

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has made a £10million bid for the England international, but he will make an improved offer as Saints are on the cusp of rejecting the offer.

The Reds want to bolster their defensive options so they can challenge for a Champions League spot next season, and Clyne is currently Rodgers’ main transfer target.

Trippier Reports Rubbished

The reports about Burnley defender Kieran Trippier coming to Anfield this summer is just speculation and rumours according to Liverpool Echo reporter Neil Jones.
