Liverpool have once again renewed their interest in 21-year-old Paco Alcacer. The Valencia striker has been in good form so far this season, netting 8 times in 16 appearances, and has the Anfield men paying attention again.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, is keen to add options to his mis-firing attacking force in January, and Alcacer could well be a deal worth doing.

Valued at around £20million, Alcacer is also attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan, so Liverpool will have to act quickly if they want to secure his services.

Valencia want to extend the Spanish international’s current deal which ends at the end of the 2015/16 season, but so far nothing has been agreed, leaving the door open for clubs to talk to the player’s representatives about his availability.

The youngster has played at every level for Spain since Under-16s, and is now a full Spanish international, starting his career with an impressive 3 goals in 5 outings.

Liverpool have had some famous Spaniards tread the hallowed Anfield turf over the years. Could this be another one?
