Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has claimed that both Fabian Delph and club captain Ron Vlaar will not be leaving the club next month.
Both players are free to talk to other clubs from the 1st of January 2015 as they are out of contract at the end of the season.
Rodger’s is keen to test Villa with a £15 million bid for both players in January.
Tottenham have been previously linked with a move for Delph whilst Arsenal, Manchester United and Southampton are all looking at Ron Vlaar’s situation.
