Liverpool are finally ready to make a move for Anderlecht forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Brendan Rodgers has sent a number of scouts to keep a watchful eye on the wanted youngster over the past few weeks, and feels that the time is right to bring the striker to Anfield.
Mitrovic, 19, has been dubbed as the new ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ and is currently on fire for Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League, scoring 3 goals in the opening 4 games.
The youngster snubbed a move to rivals Arsenal last summer to join Anderlecht and is being tipped for a very bright future.
He would be valued at £10 million pounds, something which Liverpool are willing to pay before the window closes.
It is expected that once the deal is completed, Mitrovic will be loaned out to another club.
