Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made Ezequiel Lavezzi his number one target in the January transfer window.
The Reds are finally ready to push through a deal to sign the winger, after being strongly linked with Lavezzi during the summer.
It is understood that Lavezzi would have moved to Anfield if his current club Paris-Saint-Germain blocked any attempts after missing out on Angel Di Maria.
However, Liverpool remain firmly in the race to sign the player, along with Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Roma, but it appears that Rodgers is ready to offer a bumper deal to bring the wanted man to England
