Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has admitted that Lucas Digne has handed in a transfer request.
Liverpool are said to be tracking Digne, 22, with a view to him providing competition for Alberto Moreno at left back.
However, the Red‘s are unlikely to be the only suitors with reported interest from Atletico Madrid and AS Roma.
Blanc says that the France international remains “very professional,” he added: “It is he who very clearly asked to leave, for now, he is with us, he is very professional, he trains very well and has prepared excellently. He has shown the results in friendlies.”
Reds boss, Brendan Rodgers has admitted he wants to strengthen the depth of his squad to provide competition for places and with Jose Enrique free to leave the club, a left back is an option.
However, Liverpool have already spend a whopping £75m in this transfer market and will be fully aware that they are now working on a limited budget.
