Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic is in no rush to sign a new contract with the German club, according to the Daily Star.
The winger has just turned 18 and was linked with Liverpool late on in the summer transfer window, but a move could come together before the deadline arrived. The Reds made a bid that was rejected by the German club’s bosses.
Dortmund want him to sign a new deal but reports now suggest that Pulisic will not be rushed into a decision.
His current deal expires in 2019 and he wants to see how much first-team action he gets at Dortmund before making the call on his future.
Liverpool are said to be weighing up a fresh bid in either January or next summer, which could affect the player’s decision making.
Pulisic has made three appearances for Dortmund so far this season, and scored in the 6-0 rout of Darmstadt at the weekend.
