Liverpool have been given permission to speak to Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri, and are prepared to to offer the player £95,000 a week to move to Anfield.
Brendan Rodgers is confident the move will take place as swiftly as possible, with senior officials said to be on the verge of sealing a deal for Shaqiri.
With Adam Lallana becoming an unlikely transfer, Liverpool have turned their attentions to Shaqiri who has fallen out of favour at Bayern.
Sky Italia says a bid will be agreed once Shaqiri accepts the contract offered to him by Liverpool representatives.
