Premier League champions to cash in on Remy.

Under used sub to leave Stamford Bridge.

Spartak Moscow are set to take Loic Remy of Chelsea’s hands for £14.5m, leaving Chelsea £6.5m in profit. After struggling to make an impact at his time at Chelsea, the Frenchman has be dubbed as not ‘trustworthy’ by former boss, Jose Mourinho.

The Russian side hope the signing the of Remy will enable them to gain that all attractive European football. Last season they fell short of the target and currently sit 4th in the league.

As with most players sold by Chelsea in their never ending conveyor belt, Remy will bring in much needed profit for the club. The profits accumulated by the sales of players enable CHelsea to spend vast sums of on players without being penalised by Financial Fair Play (FFP).

“The manager makes his decision and picks 11 players,” said Remy. “Whoever is playing tries to give their best and it’s the same for the substitutes. But at the moment it’s not enough and I don’t know why.

“We are disappointed because of the loss but also because we need to play much better to win a game.

“It’s difficult to pick one or two players who were better than any others. All the team need to improve. We need to be ready and play better.

“We have to try to be more compact, not make any mistakes and score.”
