Manchester City are set to join Premier League rivals, Arsenal and Liverpool, in the race to sign Lyon striker, Alexnadre Lacazette.

The Frenchman has been in fine form for the Ligue 1 side this season, and has caught the eye of the English trio, who are all interested in signing him this month.

In a recent interview, Lacazette admitted that he is looking to move on from Lyon, with England his favoured destination, and it now seems that Manuel Pellegrini’s side are favourites to land the French international.

According to reports, City are preparing a big striker overhaul at the Etihad Stadium.

Coming in is Wilfried Bony from Swansea City for £30million, and also Lacazette from Lyon for roughly £25m, whilst departing the club could be Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo, with the latter on loan for the season at Valencia.

City are hopeful they can sign Lacazette in the Summer.
