Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has agreed personal terms with Italian giants Inter Milan as they hope to finalise a £5.7million transfer move for the Ivorian this summer, according to reports.

The Ivory Coast international hasn’t performed to his peak this season with City looking to have a summer clear-out as they hope to bring in young, English and home-grown talent.

Inter boss, Roberto Mancini, wants the 6ft 2inch midfielder as he looks to bolster his squad by bringing veterans into the side.

According to Sportsmediaset, the 31-year-old has agreed a four-year contract worth around £13million with the Serie A club.

Inter are rumoured to be offering £5.7million for the former Barcelona and Monaco star, including add-ons if they finish the season in a Champions League spot.

However, City are unwilling to accept the initial offer from the San Siro club as they paid over £24million for the midfielder in 2010, with his current deal with City due to expire in 2017.
