United the latest side to be linked with West Brom striker

Manchester United have entered the race to sign West Bromwich Albion star Saido Berahino, according to reports.

The England forward has been strongly linked with a move away from The Hawthorns in recent months, with Tottenham Hotspur having four formal bids turned down during the summer transfer window.

After his move to Spurs collapsed, Berahino tweeted his frustrations and stated he’d never play for the club again.

However, he’s since put that past him and has lined up for Tony Pulis‘ side since, but he is still a wanted man across the Premier League.

Trio Interested

As well as Tottenham, Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign him, as have Manchester United.

The trio are all prepared to offer West Brom around £25million for Berahino and could all launch formal moves at the end of the season.

All three sides want to add firepower to their attacks, with Spurs heavily relying on Harry Kane, United struggling to keep Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial fit, and Chelsea failing to score goals with Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy all off-form.
