Manchester United are leading the race to sign Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda, according to reports.
The 19-year-old is thought to be frustrated with life at Stamford Bridge due to the lack of firs-team opportunities, and he’s ready to move on in order to further his career.
Musonda has previously been linked with a shock move to London rivals Arsenal, following in the footsteps of players like William Gallas and Petr Cech.
However, recent reports have him going the same way as Juan Mata by swapping Chelsea for Manchester United.
According to reports, United are now front-runners to sign the teenager and could launch a formal bid for him in the New Year.
It’s thought that Louis van Gaal is prepared to offer the Premier League champions around £10.6million for the starlet in order to fend off rival interest from Arsenal.
Clubs abroad are also showing interest in Musonda, with Paris Saint-Germain the main possible suitor.
