Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to make a £30million move to bring Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Old Trafford this summer.
It’s thought that Mourinho wants to add reinforcements in his midfield, having sold winger Memphis Depay to Lyon and Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton during the January window.
And, with Michael Carrick also turning 36 by the time the new season starts, he may struggle more and more to cope with the demands of the Premier League.
Chelsea duo Nemanja Matic and Willian would be first choice picks, but it’s unlikely Mourinho would be able to get close to striking a deal for two of Antonio Conte’s biggest stars.
