Manchester United star eyeing move to Italy

According to reports in The Daily Mail, AS Roma are in talks with Manchester United to sign Daley Blind.

The 27-year-old has played just a few minutes under Jose Mourinho since September, and is being identified as a surplus by the boss.

It is being said that the Dutchman has been interested in a move to Serie A, and AS Roma could very well be one such destination for him.

With Luke Shaw in the mix, the left-back role has been taken, and Blind has been pushed to being on the fringes.

Roma are desperately looking for a replacement after Emerson Palmieri, who joined Chelsea for a four and a half year deal for  £17.6m fee, with £7m in add-ons.

Blind had joined United in 2014, from Ajax at £14m.
