Manchester United are ready to terminate Anderson’s contract.

The Brazilian midfielder has been a failure at Old Trafford ever since arriving under Sir Alex Ferguson for £22million, and Louis Van Gaal is now ready to get him off the books by terminating his contract.

If the United board does decide to end Anderson’s contract at the club, they will have to pay him £1.4m to release him, but it’s believed that Van Gaal has already told the board he is happy for that to happen. claiming he has no plans to include the Brazilian in his team.

Van Gaal told Anderson over the Summer that he wasn’t in his plans, but no club came in for the midfielder, leaving him at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old spent most of last season on-loan at Fiorentina, and has only made one appearance this season, as a substitute against Burnley.
