Red Devils keen to bring Portuguese winger back to Old Trafford

Manchester United are said to be willing to pay Cristiano Ronaldo £300,000 a week to prize him back to Old Trafford, from Real Madrid, reports the Metro.

United have been heavily linked with a reunion with Ronaldo, now aged 29, over the last few weeks or so.

And reports in the Spanish media suggest that a deal maybe possibly done in the January window, with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, having a major bust up with Real president Florentino Perez.

The Portuguese winger, who enjoyed a six year spell at Manchester United, before leaving on for Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 for a then record £80 million fee, has hinted before that he would like a return to the North West, with United at some point in his career.

Ronaldo currently earns £290,000 a week in wages at Madrid, however, United are willing to pay £300,000 a week in wages for the player himself.
