Demba Ba has claimed that Marko Marin has contacted him regarding a move to Turkish side Besikas, according to The Metro.
Ba joined the Turkish club from Chelsea for a £7 million fee, and has claimed that Marin also wants to reunite with him in Istanbul.
The Senegal forward leaves England after three years following spells at West Ham United and Newcastle, as well as the Blues of course.
‘Marin called me after my transfer to Besiktas,’ said Ba.
‘He told me Besiktas were also interested in him and that he would like to play alongside me. Chelsea are probably going to loan him out again, so this is definitely something that could happen.
‘It would be an advantage for me as we have trained together and would help the settling in process.’
Marin has spent the last couple of years out on loan from Chelsea, with his most recent spell coming at Spanish La Liga side Sevilla.
