Liverpool striker, Mario Balotelli, is reportedly close to agreeing a move away from the club with MLS side, Orlando City, interested in signing him.

The Italian recently returned to England after a fine spell in his homeland with AC Milan, but since completing the £16million move, he’s only managed one Premier League goal.

Balotelli has struggled to impress at Anfield and hasn’t impressed manager Brendan Rodgers either, who is weighing up whether to sell the Italian for a loss in the Summer.

Many pundits have suggested that Balotelli doesn’t have a long-term future in Merseyside, and according to some reports, Orlando a weighing up a shock move for the controversial striker.

The American side are ready to hold talks with Balotelli’s agent, and early indications are that the 23-year-old would enjoy a career out in the USA.
