Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic has agreed a five-year deal with Liverpool, according to reports.
The Serbian international has been on Liverpool‘s radar for the past few months, and although they’ve had a managerial change in the mean-time, they are still keen on landing Grujic in January.
Brendan Rodgers initially wanted to sign the youngster, but they failed to secure a deal over the summer, but have since moved further into negotiations with Red Star.
Jurgen Klopp is still keen on securing the deal for the midfielder and it’s reportedly a done-deal with Grujic agreeing to a five-year deal.
Liverpool will pay Red Star £5million to secure the deal, but will send the teenager back to the club for the remainder of the season.
The 18-year-old will undergo a medical later in the week.
