Manchester United right-back set for swift exit?

Serie A champions Juventus are interested in signing Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian, according to reports.

The defender only joined the Premier League outfit over the summer after agreeing to leave Italian side Torino, but according to reports, Juve are interested in bringing him back to Italy.

Reports in Italy claim Juve director Giuseppe Marotta is flying over to Manchester in order to hold talks with Old Trafford officials regarding a potential deal for the right-back.

United paid £12.8million over the summer for the 26-year-old and he’s fitted nicely into the starting XI.

Swift Exit for Darmian?

However, Darmian has recently fallen down the pecking-order under Louis van Gaal, and has only been playing due to serious injury problems at the back for United.

According to reports in Italy, Juve want to bring the Italian international back on a short-term loan deal, before making it a permanent move in the summer for around £11m.

United have had a similar case beforehand, with Angel Di Maria only lasting one season at the club before moving on, as he agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain.
