Simon Mignolet is focused on the upcoming challenge of trying to get three points at Old Trafford this Sunday. Liverpool are currently in the running for the Premier League title this season, they are currently seven points off the leader Chelsea, but have a game in hand and still have to play Chelsea and Manchester City at Anfield.

Liverpool currently lies in second place and has scored the most goals in the Premier League this season, but their defence has looked vulnerable, especially away from home. However Simon Mignolet has been solid for most of the season and is not looking to what could be after the next ten games, but looking at each game at a time.

Manchester United is the next tough challenge that faces Liverpool and their title challenge. Manchester United has performed below expectations this season and has been disappointing at Old Trafford. However after a solid away performance against West Brom and the rivalry that exists between Liverpool and Manchester United, they should not need anymore motivation to try and stop Liverpool in their tracks.

The Belgium international goalkeeper told Sky Sports News: “If you go away to Old Trafford and you play Man United, you know it’s going to be a tough game.

“Man United are a very good team with a lot of qualities, but for us it’s more about looking at ourselves and putting the emphasis on our performance.

“There are 10 games to go until the end of the season and we have to stay calm and focused on the next game, which is always the most important.

“We’re all focused on the game against Man United, not what’s coming after that or what’s going to come at the end of the season. We just have to focus on the next game and we’ll prepare ourselves for Sunday.”

If Liverpool win this game, confidence and belief that they can finally win the Premier League will only increase. With this being the tightest title fight in the Premier Leagues history, the last ten games (for Liverpool) will add to the spectacle.
