James Milner looks set to join Liverpool at the end of the season when his current deal at the Etihad expires.
And although City have stepped up their contract negotiations, it seems the Ebgland international has his heart set on joining Brendan Rodgers’ side.
According to reports, Milner will arrive as a replacement for the departing veteran Steven Gerrard and will be used in the centre of midfield.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will reportedly look to make a partnership in the middle of the pitch between Milner and Henderson, with regular first team football thought to be one of the major motives behind the 29 year-old’s transfer.
