The Blues have been linked with Barcelona star Lionel Messi this week, with Spanish reports claiming he is unhappy at the Camp Nou.

But when asked about the validity of these claims ahead of his side’s game against Sunderland, Mourinho said: “Your world has changed so much that our world has changed. It’s so easy to have untruths circulating.

“Some people put news without confirming. Speak about rumours like they are true. It’s obviously not true.”

It is the second time in a week that the Chelsea boss has had to dismiss rumours, the first being that Chelsea keeper Petr Cech was set for a switch to Arsenal.
