Manchester United manager David Moyes says Wayne Rooney injured his hamstring before club’s preseason tour to Asia and Australia and dismissed suggestions the striker is set to leave the club.

The rumours says that Wayne Rooney didn’t just flew back home because of the injury but to listen to what clubs have to offer.
Previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the 27-year-old asked to leave the club at the end of the last season, while Chelsea’s new manager and Arsene Wenger said that the England International is a player to admire.
“Wayne is a Manchester United player and will remain that.” David Moyes is reported to have said.
