Barcelona have handed a blow to both Arsenal and Chelsea after increasing Munir El Haddadi’s buyout clause.

Both the Premier League duo were originally keen on the highly-rated 19-year-old, in preperation for a potential January bid.

Munir El Haddadi has earned rave reviews in Spain, having made his Barcelona debut at the start of this season, featuring in seven La Liga fixtures, and three Champions League ties.

It was first rumoured that the starlet would cost either side £9 million, however Spanish Newspaper Marca have stated that El Haddadi shook hands with Barcelona’s director of football, Andoni Zubizaretta over a proposed new deal.

His new deal at the Nou Camp is set to have a buyout clause of around £28 million.
