New Liverpool signing Mamadou Sakho has revealed that his story with French side Paris Saint-Germain is not yet over, despite leaving there this summer in order to join The Reds in England.
Sakho made his £18million switch to Anfield this summer, but was back in France on Sunday making a farewell speech to the home fans at the club, and at the end of the speech, he revealed that he has unfinished business at the club.
The French centre-back came through the ranks at PSG, but since their mega-money take-over, his first-team spot was in jeopardy and due to the big-name signings, he eventually chose to leave the club.
Not only did he come up from the youth ranks, he also supported the club as a child and he could return to his homeland sooner rather than later.
“I’m very proud to come here tonight. I remember when I was young, I was up there, there in the stands and watched PSG play.
“I have now turned a page.
“My story with PSG isn’t over yet.’
