Nani who last featured for Manchester United in their loss against Newcastle will miss their Christmas period due to a hamstring injury. Nani has been linked with a move away from United for a while now, with Juventus one club being linked with the Portugal international.
With Robin Van Persie out injured over Christmas and Wayne Rooney struggling, United will not want anymore injuries.
Moyes said: “Nani has a hamstring injury which is a little bit worse than we thought. He is probably going to be missing for a few weeks.”
Nani is by no means a regular in the Manchester United team, but with a busy Christmas period for all Premier League teams, this would have been a chance for Nani to show why he deserves a place in the team on a regular basis.
