Newcastle are keen to bolster their attacking options and have looked to the Serie A champions to find one. They are apparently tracking Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic in order to improve their attacking strength, as their goal scoring form has been called into question, with Papiss Cisse failing to make an impact and Loic Remy’s future being uncertain.

The 30 year old has seen regular starts a hard thing to come by due to the arrivals of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City and Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao, and has managed just three league starts this season and scoring just one gola for the Turin side.

The Montenegrin enjoyed wonderful form last season and has netted 25 goals in 81 appearances in total, and due to the lack of playing time this season and Newcastle’s form slowly starting to pick up after victories against Chelsea and Newcastle, a move to the Premier League will ceretainly tempt the striker.
